Chris is the head winemaker, viticulturist and agricultural expert at Laurel Wine and Agriculture, with over 10 years of experience in the winemaking and viticulture industry. With a background in plant and soil science and a degree in Oenology and Viticulture from the University of Adelaide, Chris combines his scientific knowledge with a deep passion for producing exceptional wine. Specializing in cool climate viticulture, Chris traveled extensively to learn best practices from industry leaders in countries including Australia, New Zealand, NW United States, and Canada. He uses his knowledge to help vineyards thrive in challenging conditions and consistently produce high-quality grapes. Known for his hands-on approach and commitment to sustainable practices, Chris works closely with clients to craft outstanding wines and enhance vineyard health, all while balancing tradition and innovation to ensure the highest standards of quality. Beyond wine, Chris offers his soil and sustainability expertise to help farmers plan for the future and achieve success in their agricultural pursuits.

Tori brings a unique blend of expertise in hospitality, sustainability, and over 8 years of experience in the world of wine. With a degree in Human Geography from the University of Alberta, Tori is driven by the belief that great wine starts with great people and a strong sense of place. Her passion for sustainability and love for soil is at the heart of her work, constantly exploring how healthy land can shape exceptional vineyards. She is dedicated to both the pursuit of high-quality agriculture and fostering a deeper connection to the land and the people who bring it to life.
